{"id":47,"date":"2020-06-18T22:53:03","date_gmt":"2020-06-18T22:53:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/lifestyle\/?p=47"},"modified":"2020-06-18T22:53:03","modified_gmt":"2020-06-18T22:53:03","slug":"say-hello-to-my-new-son-williams-uchemba-adopts-carpenter-to-sponsor-his-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/lifestyle\/2020\/06\/18\/say-hello-to-my-new-son-williams-uchemba-adopts-carpenter-to-sponsor-his-education\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Say hello to my new son\u2019 \u2014 Williams Uchemba adopts carpenter, to sponsor his education"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"post-title\">\n<h1>\u2018Say hello to my new son\u2019 \u2014 Williams Uchemba adopts carpenter, to sponsor his education<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"post-meta\">\n<div class=\"post-comment\">\n<p><strong>Williams Uchemba, a Nollywood star and comedian, has adopted a teenage boy and promised to grant him a full scholarship till university level.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Uchemba, who has worked with the likes of AY and Ramsey Nouah, took to his Instagram page on Thursday to share a picture of himself sitting alongside Demola at his home.<\/p>\n<p>He narrated how he met the young chap during a visit to a furniture workshop.<\/p>\n<p>The movie star said that he was touched after discussing with the \u201csmart\u201d young boy, who is a carpentry apprentice, and found out that he couldn\u2019t further his education because he had no one to sponsor him through the university system.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA few days ago, I went to a furniture store to make some furniture for my ongoing projects,\u201d the Igbo comedian wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen they took me to the workshop, I saw this young man Demola who was one of the carpenters but as an apprentice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI asked him some questions and realized that he is a very smart young boy, so I invited him to my house to know more about him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is 18 years of age, has finished secondary school (with good grades), and would love to study Economics in the university but can\u2019t further his education.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe doesn\u2019t have a sponsor to put him through school. So today I decided to adopt Demola not only to sponsor him through school.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut to mentor him with the knowledge and other information that has made me who I am today, till he becomes the man God destined him to be.
