2019: Atiku Care Foundation North West Re-iterates its Unalloyed Support for Waziri Adamawa

The Atiku Care Foundation North West Zone has re-iterated its unalloyed support for the former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. (Waziri Adamawa).

It has disowned a statement credited to one Comrade Sanusi Ababaye, that the foundation has dumped the Waziri Adamawa and pitched its tent with President Muhammad Buhari.

This was expressed in a statement signed by its Director Media and Publicity, North West, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Monday.

The statement said Sanusi Ababaye has spoken on behalf of just himself as they would not subscribe to pitching tent with an administration that has brought untold hardship to Nigerians.

Atiku Care Foundation urged all well- meaning Nigerians and millions of members of the foundation in the North West to disregard the statement, stressing that they remain loyal to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

“Ababaye has no followership in the foundation. He is just a willing tool in the hands of propagandists, attempting to sow seeds of discord in the foundation. We wish to remind him that he is on a solo trip and his plans have failed even before they were hatched as all Atiku Care Foundation members even before joining the foundation, were motivated by the need to touch the lives of Nigerians impoverished by this insensitive administration.

“Since Nigerians are still suffering, nothing has changed yet, so minds of the members of the foundation remain unchanged.

“We are shouting it out for all to hear that Atiku Care Foundation remains resolute and committed to ensuring it contributes its quota towards ensuring Nigerians are free of this poverty spreading administration come May 19, 2019,” it added.

It further informed that it has not merged with any group.

“Babaye is not the spokesman of the group in the North West and as such, has no mandate to issue press releases or host press conferences. Our lawyers are studying the situation and would respond to his folly appropriately,” it concluded.
