Develop the Spirit of Giving – NASFAT urges Nigerians

Nastrul Lahil-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has called on individuals to develop the habit of giving as it has benefits in the sight of Allah.
This was one of the sermons delivered at
NASFAT newly opened group, Muri road Kaduna.

in his sermon while drawing attention on the efficacy of prayers called on members to be steadfast as that is the best way to go about living a peaceful life.
Explaining further, he said prayers backed with good deeds is more rewarding in the sight of Allah.
He urged individuals with particular reference to Muslim Ummah to at this period of Ramadan exhibit some degrees of compassion towards fellow human beings including beggars, saying, not all beggars are mere beggars. Some he said could be God – sent and therefore should be kind to them. Kind words is of great virtue, he said.
“Do not drive away beggars even if his legs and hands are okay. It could be that such person is sent to you by God.
If Allah blesses you, do not be a miser. Give out from what you have. By giving out, it means you’re appreciating God for His blessings and mercies upon you. He encouraged.
“In this month of Ramadan it is expected that individuals seek the face of Allah as such turn a new live.”
The Deputy Missionary, Austaz Abdullahi Raji explaining the importance of suratul Mulk’ and suratul Wadua urged individuals to always recite the suras as they are very beneficial.
Recitation of suratul Mulk’ on a daily basis is of great benefit.  He stated. It will stay with one in the grave. Such person who during his/her life time constantly recited suratul Mulk’ will never feel lonely in his/her grave. He emphasized.
The congregation went into special prayers for peace and tranquility to reign in the state and nation at large.
In another development, Muri road group was honoured by the visit of former NASFAT’S Worldwide National President, Alhaji Banji Saruma.
During the visit, he expressed satisfaction with the formation of the new group which he said is fast growing.
He commended the Zonal and branch executives for their efforts in making the dream of setting up a group within Kaduna metropolis a reality.
Alhaji Banji also commended the group Chairman Hon. Musbau Adepoju, the Missionary board, Ustaz Kabir Uthman and his deputy, Ustaz Abdullahi Raji, all group executive members for their good work.
Addressing the members for their turnout, he urged that they remain committed in order to achieve the desired goal.
According to him, their commitments will encourage the executives in the realization of the society’s dream of building an enlightened Muslim society.
Alhaji Banji prayed for the women whom he said are at the forefront of spreading the religion lslam while encouraging the men to always be there to encourage them further.
Speaking, the Zonal Chairman Alhaji Saheed Popoola Gambari on behalf of the executives thanked Alhaji Banji for finding it worthy to visit the group.
Also speaking, the group Chairman, Hon. Adepoju on behalf of his executives and entire members expressed his gratitude for such honour while promising to work assiduously with the members to move the group forward.
As it is the tradition of NASFAT, prayers were offered for him for a better tomorrow.
Earlier, Acting Women Leader Muri Road group, Hajiya Bashira Sheidu had during the asalat urged the women to keep the flag flying.
In his entourage were NASFAT Kaduna Branch Vice Chairman, Alhaji AbdulAkeem Adeniji, the branch Secretary, Alhaji Alebiosun Olayiola, representatives of other committees, including representative of NASFAT Women Management.
