Kaduna: Reliance on Allah is the Answer to All Difficulties – NASFAT
Zainab Tanimu
Kaduna, Northwest Nigeria
Nastrul Lahil-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has emphasized on the importance of one relying on the Almighty Allah (God) in whatever situation he/she finds himself.
Reliance (Tawakkul) is one thing that must manifest in human life to show that one is a true believer. It stated.
This admonition was given during its  Ramadan Public Lecture held at NASFAT
Doka Group Muri road  Kaduna.
The Missionary Austaz Kabir Uthman in his lecture titled:, “Tawakkul, trusting in God’s plan”, that is, having complete Reliance on Allah, charged all present and every Muslim to strengthen their faith. (lman) He said the mere fact that one observes five daily prayers or fast does not make one a true believer unless it is complimented with good deeds.
He described it as a total liberating and very empowering state of mind which a true believer attains because of his trust in and reliance on the power, authority, help and support of Allah SWT.
This kind of resolute trust in and reliance on Allah, ‘Tawakkul’, he explained provides such a tranquility to one’s heart, such a courage in one’s psyche and such a resilience in one’s nature which makes a believer not to be scared, pressured into giving up, not to compromise nor be forced into submission by any enemy.
“A person with true faith will always rely on Allah. Such person will have Tawakkul in what ever situation.  Lack of Tawakkul indicates lack of true faith. He said.
The Messenger of Allah, (SAW) said, ”How wonderful it is for a believer that he always ends up with goodness: If he suffers and remains steadfast, it is rewarding; if good things happen and he thanks Allah, that is also rewarding.” (Suhaib in the Muslim)
Explaining further,
“The believers are only those who: when Allah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful; when His verses are recited to them, they increase their faith; and only on their Lord they rely(have Tawakkul). (Surat Al-‘Anfāl 8:2)
“What will increase you in faith is constantly listening to the words of Allah.” He reminded.
He encouraged the Muslim Ummah to always be found where Allah’s words are being mentioned.
‘The people that depend on Allah in whatever situation they find themselves are among the true believers.
The Missionary urged Muslims to be submissive to Allah because only Allah and no human being can bail them out.
Allah says, whoever depends on Him will never be left alone in whatever calamity because there will always be a way out for such person. Reliance on Allah is the answer as all difficulties will come to ease.
“Whoever relies on Allah (has Tawakkul), He is sufficient for him (At-Talaaq 65:3)
.
If only human beings abide by Allah’s injunctions all these vices in the society and the problem of insecurity we are facing today would have been a thing of ease. He stressed.
The Deputy Missionary, Ustaz Abdullahi Raji who took the congregation through the recitation of the holy Quran charged individuals to commit themselves to the recitation of the holy Quran especially at this holy month of Ramadan.
Earlier in his opening remark, Chairman of the occasion,  Alhaji Abdulfatai Ogunsanya commended the magnanimity of the group in working towards NASFAT’s set goals while promising to assist in what ever capacity possible.
The topic ‘Tawakkul’ he described as very key to the existence of mankind and should be taken seriously.
In a brief interview with hajiya Zainab Tanimu of Newsreservoir shortly after the lecture, a one time NASFAT Kaduna Branch Chairman, Alhaji Abdulwaheed Adepoju Dangoje  stressed on the need for people’s continuous reliance on God because only Him is capable of all things.
Speaking on the activities of the new group, he said.
“It is an upcoming branch and very hopeful, and l have told the management here that they should start planning and making preparation because what l see here is a progressive branch.
There will be very massive population in the nearest future as such should plan as to how to be able to contain a lot of people.
From what l am seeing in the next six month this place may not be able to contain everybody. It reminds me of the experience the first time we started NASFAT, we had to start relocating from one place to another.
I would like to advise the management not to run away from challenges because is what is always expected of a new branch. As a new, there is bound to be challenges.
Also speaking, Former NASFAT Zonal Vice Chairman Alhaji Adekunle Adesanya said the formation of the new group is long overdue.
“A lot of our members living in the town have been longing for a new branch of NASFAT to cater for people residing within the town.
As we well know, the economy is not smiling. A lot of people because of harsh economy they  have not been coming to NASFAT village for asalat but this has afforded them the opportunity to come for prayers and also to offer other people that have been hearing about NASFAT the opportunity to come and join  us.
The influx of new members here has strengthen the population of NASFAT in general.
With regards to the lecture on ‘Tawakkul’, that is, complete reliance on Allah, it was educative, and with the situation we have in Nigeria today, we cannot rely on the government, we cannot rely on our security agencies all we do is just rely on Allah and continue to pray for His protection.
In his appreciation, NASFAT Doka Group Chairman, Hon. Musbau Adepoju while appreciating all present assured his commitment to take the group to glorious level.
Zonal Women Affairs Secretary from Zaria, Kudirat Adebisi and her team in company of NASFAT Kaduna Women Management members were at the lecture.
They were received by Doka Group Women Leader Hajiya Bashira Sheidu together with her executive members. Hajiya Bashira pledged continuous support of the women to strengthen the group.
According to the Zonal Women Affairs Secretary.
“Alhamdullilah, infact when l came in l was surprised. I thought it was a long existing group because of the turnout and enthusiasm of the members and the orderly manner they presented themselves.
“I must admit it has started well because l remember when Zaria started it was not up to half of the population l am seeing here. To see this great number is a thing of joy and we pray to Allah that the congregation continues to grow from strength to strength. I am really very impressed with the turnout.
