“Women’s Wing of NASFAT, in collaboration with Zero Hepatitis together with NASFAT’s Health Committee are organizers of the exercise.
“Zero Hepatitis decided to assist NASFAT as their own charitable contribution (sadakatu jariya) by collaborating with the Health and Women’s Wing on the occasion of their Widow’s week celebration.” She said
Hajiya Salman explaining the importance of the exercise, urged members who have been screened and given the first dose of the vaccine to ensure that they complete the remaining doses for effectiveness. .
“The importance of this vaccine is to prevent people from contacting hepatitis ‘B’. The three doses which is to be taken for 3 consecutive months for those tested negative will help build immunity from contacting hepatitis ‘B’ for the period of 10years. If tested positive, you have nothing to worry about. You will be directed to the right physician for treatment”. She added.
She promised to revisit the Group with her team to administer the remaining two doses.
Medical officials from ministry of health Kaduna, hajiya Zainab and hajiya Farida both were on ground to administer the dose to members.
According to Zainab, “the free vaccines is a support received from Zero Hapatatis as a way of easing the financial burden of members.”
Members turnout she described as very impressive.
Chairman, Doka Group,  Hon. Musbau Adepoju speaking in a brief interview with Hajiya Zainab Tanimu of Newsreservoir, expressed satisfaction with the turnout of members.

He thanked members of the team for a job well done as well as the initiators of the exercise.
“Alhamdullilah, infact l never expected that members of the group will rally round the programme the way they have done today. The turnout is very encouraging. It is really very impressive.
As to his dream for the new group, he has this to say.
“Alhamdullilah, we started this group about three months ago, we thank Allah because the number of people attending our asalat keeps increasing week by week. This is as a result of the acceptance of prayers. It’s really very encouraging.
My dream for this group is to see it growing and within a short time, wants us to become a branch. We are really working hard towards achieving that.”
Speaking, Women leader, NASFAT Doka Group, Hajiya Bashira Sheidu commending the organizers of the exercise said it will help in improving the health of members.
“This is a good opportunity given to us.
If not for this exercise, some people might not even know that there is anything like that” She said.
Hajiya Bashira commended the organizers for bringing such services to NASFAT’s doorsteps saying, even those who are aware of it, the stress and the money involved would have been a problem.
“We say thank you. We say jazakhum llahu Khair to the organizers of this programme.”
Some of the members who received the vaccination had expressed appreciation to the organizers of the programme for taking off their financial burden.

This initiative by NASFAT is commendable. It is a good thing bringing it to NASFAT.
I want them to take the exercise to rural areas apart from NASFAT.
I will like to advise everyone to cultivate the habit of doing regular checkup. To at least once in a week check your Blood Pressure (BP). It is very important.
Hajiya Yetunde Shekoni, Hajiya Fatima Lawal and Hajiya Aisha Muhammed all commended the efforts of the organizers.

“Alhamdullilah, they did same at our main branch. We are happy that they have brought it to our doorstep. With the enlightenment we have received, we now know what hapatatis is all about and how to go about it. I must say the turnout is encouraging. We are urging other NGO’s that whenever opportunity like this arises, please remember NASFAT.”
Hajiya Fatima Lawal
“I must say l am really excited being one of those benefitting from this exercise. Infact l have been looking for this opportunity. Alhamdullilah, today NASFAT has made it possible. May Almighty Allah reward NASFAT, the hapatatis team  and all those that made this possible.”
Hajiya Aisha Muhammed
“The exercise is very good. It has
helped us. The screening has made it possible for people to know whether they have hapatatis or not. For those who have it, they are told how to go about it.
I must say l am well enlightened. Like that of contacting it through the use of razor blade or contacting it through sweat. I am really happy. NASFAT has done a great job by ensuring that their members stay healthy.
I am advising and calling other people out there that have not come to NASFAT to come and join NASFAT and enjoy the good things here. The things they are doing are not meant for only Muslims but for everybody.”
In another development, a group was in NASFAT to distribute pampers to nursing mothers.
According to the leader of the group, hajiya Khadijat, it is their way of touching lives.
It will interest you to know that one of
NASFAT’s  core objectives is caring for the welfare of its members. It is not surprising therefore that it has from time to time continued to open up  opportunities for its members to grow.
Not only that, it equally avails them the chance to be physically fit and healthy..
