Election Results: Collation Commences Today

The collation of the Presidential and National Assembly results is commencing today.
The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu made this known
during a nationwide press briefing held in Abuja yesterday.
He said despite the few challenges experienced, the use of the Bi-modal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) was successful as it functioned optimally in most of the states across the federation.
INEC has taken note of the challenges for necessary actions before the next election. He assured.

Alongside President Muhammadu Buhari the presidential candidates of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, that of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, the Labour Party (LP), candidate, Peter Obi all won their various polling units.
The Kano State gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Abba Kabir Yusuf won his polling booth for the party’s Presidential candidate, Sen. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso.
Peter Obi also won all polling units at the presidential Villa Abuja.
