VOLLEYBALL: Nigeria Clash with Cameroon in one of the 2018 men’s U21 Nations Cup Matches

Nigeria male volleyball team has been drawn to clash with Cameroon, Rwanda and Tunisia in the Group A of the 2018 men’s U21 Africa Nations Cup in Abuja.

Defending champion, Egypt were drawn in Group B along with Chad, Egypt and Morocco.

Chad took on Morocco Wednesday at noon, while host Nigeria faced Cameroon by 3pm. Tunisia began her campaign against Rwanda 5pm and the defending champion met Congo, 7pm.

Eight countries divided into two preliminary pools will slug it out in Nigeria from 12th to 20th September, 2018.

The draws of the championship was witnessed by the Confederation of Africa Volley Ball President Dr. AmrElwani and Control Committee of the competition in Abuja.

The African U21 Nations Cup serves as 2019 World Championship qualifiers where the top two African teams book their tickets to represent Africa in the FIVB U21 championship.
