Governor Uba Sani Constitutes Committee On Ongoing Projects

The Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency Senator Uba Sani has approved the constitution of a committee to determine the status of all ongoing projects across the state, including those in the pipeline.

This is in line with the government’s commitment to speedily complete all priority projects.

According to the statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary, Muhammad Lawal Shehu dated 26th June, 2023,  the Committee’s terms of reference aside determining the status of all the ongoing projects across the state, is to do the following.

1. Get the details of contractual agreements/obligations.

2. Find out the funding arrangements and commitments of parties.

3. Find out the  completion period of the projects.

4. Come up with specific recommendations on each project.

Members of the Committee are:

a. Sabiu Sani, Special Adviser, Investment & Promotion – Chairman

b. Dr. Abdullahi B. Ahmed, Special Adviser, Project Monitoring, Implementation and Result Delivery – Member

c. Dr. Mustapha Musa, Special Adviser, Legal – Member

d. Fabian Okoye, Special Adviser, Research, Documentation & Strategy – Member

e. Ibrahim T. Muhammad, Special Adviser, Economic Matters – Member

f. Atiku Sankey, Special Adviser, Peace and Conflict Resolution –  Member

g. Larai Ishaku  – Member

h. Shuaibu Kabir Bello, Senior Special Assistant, ICT – Secretary

The committee has four weeks from the inaugural meeting to submit its report.
