La Azzurre began their group G campaign on a perfect note through their 83rd minutes substitute Cristiana Grirelli’s wonderful header at the 86th minute to give them a late win over Argentina at the Eden Park Stadium, New Zealand.

However, both team brought more physicality and Tacticality into the game with six yellow cards and a staggering 37 fouls throughout the encounter plus Seven shots on targets to give some indication of what the game was like.

Milena Bertolini’s side now joins Sweden who seats top of the group with three points each, while La Albiceleste will wait for their first group match winner when they will face South Africa who are also at the bottom of the group.
