Palliative: NUJ Kaduna Council Gets Donation of 100 Bags of Rice

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kaduna State Council has received a donation of  hundred bags of rice as palliative.

The Council Chairman, Hajiya Asma’u Yawo Halilu disclosed this to her members.

The palliatives from the office of the Special Senior Assistant to President Ahmed Tinubu on Media, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz in Abuja. she explained is part of the President’s efforts to cushion the effects of the present hardship.

Appreciating the gesture on behalf of her members, she said.

“This is highly commendable because food is one of the basics of life and we are receiving the donation at a time it is needed the most. On behalf of our members, we say thank you.”

The leadership of the council she said  tries to reach out in order to fulfill its promise of seeing to the welfare of its members.

Aside the rice, the council has also made provision for other things. She informed.

“It’s another festive period and we will be sharing soya oil, sachet tomatoes, seasonings and beef.
