NASFAT Missionary Institute Partners Fountain University for International Conference
The NASFAT Missionary Institute is set to collaborate with Fountain University, Osogbo, for an International Conference themed *”Navigating the Dynamics of Religion, Science, Politics, Ethnicity, and Youth for Peace & Development.”*
The conference which is scheduled to take place between November 20 and 23, 2024, aims to foster dialogue and understanding among various stakeholders in religious, academic, and political spheres.
According to the statement dated September 26, 2024, signed by the
National Public Relations, Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society, Alhaji Shamsideen Owolabi Oseni,
“Top-ranking global scholars will lead the keynote sessions. Among the prominent speakers are Professor Is-haq Oloyede, Registrar of the Joint Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor Kola Makinde of Obafemi Awolowo University, and Professor Isa Alli Pantami, former Minister for Communication and Digital Economy.
The esteemed academic lineup also includes Professor Majeed Alabi of Osun State University and Professor Amidu Sanni of Fountain University, who will share their insights on the theme.
“Alhaji (Dr.) Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, President of NASFAT, will serve as the Chief Host, while the Chief Missioner, Imam Maroofdeen Onike AbdulAzeez, will provide spiritual leadership and guidance throughout the conference. The event promises to be an enriching experience for scholars, and participants both within Nigeria and beyond.
The conference, the statement further explained will provide a platform to explore the intricate relationship between religion, science, politics, and ethnicity in shaping societal peace and development. Discussions will also highlight the role of youth and women as catalysts for progress unity in a multicultural world.
