A hadith (saying of the Prophet Muhammad) states that fasting Ramadan and then following it with six days of Shawwal is as if one has fasted the entire year.

Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days of Shawwal , it will be as if he fasted for a lifetime.”

Shawwal is a time for Muslims to reflect on their spiritual journey during Ramadan, renew their commitment to faith, and strive to uphold the values cultivated during the holy month.

So, let’s strive towards strengthening our bond with Allah.
