NASFAT Kaduna: Zonal Executives Strategize On Issues

NASFAT Zonal Executive members have met in Zaria to strategize and deliberate on matters of utmost importance.

In his opening address, the Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Saheed Popoola Gambari lauded the efforts of the executive for ensuring smooth coordination of activities. He stressed on the importance of every branch chairman making available to the zone their lined-up activities for proper guidance. Popoola charged every executive member of the zone to remain committed for the growth of the society.

Amongst issues discussed were the bringing on board of new executives from both NASFAT Kaduna main branch and that of NASFAT Doka branch that will run the affairs of the society as every modality has been concluded by the shura committee charged with the responsibilities to screen and recommend suitable candidates for various positions. The need to step up training for committee members was raised and generally accepted.

The empowerment committee was tasked to strategize more in order to have life changing programmes for members.

The issue of NASFAT Mararaban Jos was brought to fore with a view to finding lasting solution to the problem of space and that of becoming a branch.

After Individual contributions and much deliberations, the meeting came to a close.
