Kaduna Zone Dawa’ah: NASFAT President Tasks Muslim Ummah On Continuous Search For Knowledge

The President, Nastrul -Lahi -L Fatih Society NASFAT, Dr. Ayodeji Abdulwahid AbdulRauf has emphasized on the need for Muslim Ummah to search for knowledge concerning their deen.
This called was made while encouraging  members during it just concluded NASFAT Train – the -Trainer da’wah programme in Kaduna.

Speaking through NASFAT National Project Secretary, Engr. Muhyideen Alimi Yusuf,  the training which was meant to equip participants with sound knowledge about the religion lslam he said will also provide answers to some of the misconceptions about the religion.
He charged the participants to make good use of the  exercise to upgrade their knowledge.
“I want to encourage each an everyone of us to take advantage of this training to learn more about lslam.” He emphasised.
Alhaji Rauf appreciated NASFAT missionary board, under the leadership of the Chief Missioner Sheikh AbdulAzeez Maroofdeen Onike who deemed it worthwhile to put such programme in place.
He commended the facilitators led by Alhaja Sadia Onike for their tireless efforts in their bid to impacting positively on the lives of the participants and growth of the religion Islam.
He also recognised the organizers of the programme and all that contributed towards the success of the programme.
The Zonal Chairman Alhaji Saheed Popoola Gambari in his speech thanked the president for finding it worthwhile to be part of the programme.
The zone he said remains determined in ensuring that members use the training programme to broaden their knowledge of lslam.
Expressing satisfaction over the training exercise, he appreciated Alhaja Sadia, the lead facilitator and her team for their sacrifices in the course of Allah.
The turnout of participants he said is impressive while urging that more members take part in the next coming one.
 “Honestly, I am highly delighted with the turnout and dedication shown by participants”.
Coordinator, Women Daw’ah, Hajiya Sadiat Onike in her speech also acknowledged the increase in participation.
She noted that with over one hundred participants, Kaduna zone has made a difference.
She called for intensification of efforts in getting more members registered. Not only that, she encouraged the need to  criss-cross to partake in other zone’s training programme as a means to fastening the duration of their training.
The training she stressed will educate and prepare participants on how to answers faith shaking questions.

“Let us ensure that we play our role well. Let us continue to be moving forward not backwards.”

Allah  has said, “you must know ‘Me’ before you can worship ‘Me”. This is achievable only if one has adequate knowledge of Allah and His dictates. She emphasised.

She urged the executives not to relent in their efforts in the execution of the training programme. Things work  better where all the zonal executives are involved in planning. Kaduna Zone has potential facilitators. She added.
NASFAT Zonal Women Affairs Secretary, Hajiya Muibat Lawal encouraged the women to participate more in the programme.  Considering their roles as mothers and home  makers, such  knowledge if acquired will go a long way in adding values on the children and the society at large.

Daw’ah  coordinator, Alhaji Abdulwaheed Amusa feeling elated over the success recorded thanked everyone present for their support. Some challenges not withstanding, it was a fruitful exercise.
The acting Zonal Missioner, Imam Maruf Alabi in his closing prayer also gave thanks to Allah, seeking His baraka to make the knowledge acquired not only  beneficial to one but to Islam.
The 3-day ‘Faith Building’ training with the theme: ‘Nurturing Your Faith’  was organized by NASFAT Kaduna Zone in collaboration with NASFAT Missionary Institute.
