ON A SAD NOTE: Innā liLlāh Wa innā ilayhi rāji’ūn NASFAT Looses Mission Board Member

With sadness in our hearts but with total submission to the Will of Allah, we announce the passing of Imam Abubakr Efuma of Kaduna Main Branch.

He returned to Allah in a road accident earlier today on his way to Minna.

In a statement signed on behalf of NASFAT Chief Missioner, Sheikh AbdulAzeez Maroofdeen Onike by NASFAT, National Da’wah Officer, Alhaji Abdul-Ganiyy Raji, “the deceased, until his death was a great asset to Kaduna Zone.

Through his efforts, many people of Nupe extraction joined the NASFAT Family in Kaduna Zone.

“He will be sorely missed for his charming personality, dedication, knowledge and altruistic service to Allah through NASFAT.

“His death is a great loss to us. We however take solace in Allah’s mercy. We are hopeful that Allah will not deny him his reward for his years of service to our Kaduna Main Branch, and by extension, NASFAT as a family.

“He will be buried in Suleja, Niger State, by 2pm today. We implore all our Imams based around that axis to join the Janāzah.

“On behalf of the Chief Missioner, I request all NASFAT Imams to recite Surātul-Ikhlās 3 times today and tomorrow at Asalatu in his memory. ”

May the Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him aljalna firdaus. Grant the family, and the entire NASFAT family the fortitude bear the loss. 🙏
