Kabido Chapel Executives Pay Heartfelt Thank-You Visit to Management, Renew Commitment to Vibrant Leadership

Under the warm glow of a cheerful Wednesday morning on November 12, 2025, the newly sworn-in executives of the Kabido Chapel made their way to No. 1 Kabido Street, Madami — home of the Kabido Quantum Media Hub. Their mission was simple yet profound: to express gratitude.

Led by the chapel’s Chairperson, Comrade Jummai Adamu, the delegation arrived in high spirits to meet with the DG/CEO of Kabido Quantum Media Hub, Adamu Marshal. Their visit was a gesture of appreciation for the support, encouragement, and goodwill the management extended during the elections that ushered them into office.

In her remarks, Comrade Jummai expressed heartfelt thanks to the MD/CEO and the entire management team for providing an enabling environment for journalists to thrive. She reaffirmed her team’s dedication to elevating the chapel to greater heights, stressing that Kabido is blessed with capable hands ready to work tirelessly toward shared aspirations.

Responding warmly, CEO Adamu Marshal commended the executives for their thoughtfulness and assured them of management’s continued support. He encouraged the team to remain united and ensure inclusivity in all their activities, noting that harmony is key to sustaining the chapel’s vibrancy.

He shared the good news that Kabido is coming up with its radio and television stations and already a test run has been carried out in the studio and was successful.

It will be recalled that during the inauguration ceremony, the NUJ council had praised Kabido Chapel as one of the most vibrant and promising chapels.

Earlier that day, a brief congress was also held where members were congratulated on their new positions and encouraged to work collectively to strengthen the chapel.

Addressing members during the congress, Comrade Jummai reaffirmed her commitment to carry everyone along, urging members to stay dedicated to building a stronger, more dynamic chapel.

Inaugural INEC Committee Chairman and NAWOJ National Secretary (Zone A), Comrade Daharatu Aliyu, congratulated the new executive and offered insightful contributions on the path forward.

The issue of payment of dues was brought to fore. Members were encouraged to pay their dues for the betterment of the union.

In a heartfelt aside, Mr. Joseph Nock used the moment to express his sincere appreciation to management for their unwavering support during his daughter’s wedding.

The day ended on a note of unity, gratitude, and renewed determination — a promising start for Kabido Chapel’s new leadership.
