Afenifere Group Hails NASFAT President AbdulRauf for Distinguished Leadership and Service

The Afenifere Renewal Group (ARG), Canada, has commended the President of the pace-setting global Islamic society, NASFAT, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulRauf, for his distinguished leadership, integrity and outstanding contributions to humanitarian service, civil rights advocacy and Yoruba socio-political development.

The commendation was made by Mr. Bayo Aregbesola, Coordinator of ARG, Canada, who described AbdulRauf as an exemplary leader whose commitment to principle, compassion and service has continued to earn him respect across religious, civic and cultural communities.

According to Aregbesola, AbdulRauf exemplifies the rare harmony between personal conviction and public action. Described as an authentic Omoluabi, he said the NASFAT President has earned respect through humility, transparency and steadfast commitment to principles that remain unshaken by political expediency or public pressure.

Aregbesola noted that AbdulRauf possesses the uncommon ability to combine moral courage with compassion, saying he engages critics respectfully, embraces dialogue over division and consistently builds bridges across faiths and communities.

He said AbdulRauf’s leadership style reflects wisdom, patience and a deep understanding that true influence is measured by trust rather than popularity.

As President of NASFAT, AbdulRauf has distinguished himself through impactful welfare initiatives, including the renowned “Feed a Mouth” Daily Iftar Programme.

His hands-on commitment to supporting vulnerable members of society demonstrates his belief that faith must be expressed through service, sacrifice and practical compassion.
