NUJ Kaduna Council At Late Dominic Uzu’s Resident On Condolence Visit

Today, the Executives and members of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kaduna were at late Chief Dominic Uzu’s residence to condone with the wife and family.
Chief Dominic died in a ghastly motor accident along Kaduna – Zaria road Tuesday, 4, February, 2020.
The delegation was led by the Zonal Vice President, Zone A, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Yusuf Idris amongst which were Council Chairman, Adamu Yusuf, Council Secretary, Femi Adi, Assistant Secretary, Shindong Bala and former Nawoj Zonal Secretary, Hajiya Daharatu Ahmed.
Others were, Nawoj Chair Person, Hajiya Fatima Aliyu, Nawoj Secretary, Mrs. Maureen Sheyin and other members of the union who together prayed for the repose of his soul and for God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
The NUJ Chairman Adamu Yusuf described late Dominic as a symbol of peace and a champion whose contributions would ever remain cheriched.
Hard-working and persevering he was. He said.
“We have lost a champion. When we had crisis, he called for peace. During our press week’s novelty march, Dominic alone without any official letter took it upon himself to serve as official coach and stood firm to see to the success of the match.

with you in this moment of grief.
“Though Dominic is dead, but Dominic exists with us and will ever exist in our pen profession.
We pray that God Almighty gives you and the family the fortitude to bear the loss. Amin.”
