Zulum in Gombe for Northeast Governors’ meeting
Borno Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum in Gombe alongside Governors of Adamawa, Bauchi, Yobe, deputy governor of Taraba and host Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe, for a regional meeting on Security, infrastructure and economy.
The northeast, particularly in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa, has suffered serious security setbacks caused by boko haram. 
The meeting will listen to presentations by the northeast development commission and Ashaka cement, discuss implications of the discovery of oil and gas deposits in the Northeast, prospects and problems of power generation and the role of Distribution Companies amongst others.
The Governors will deliberate in closed door sessions after which a  communique will be issued.
