Nineth Civil – Military Seminar Attracts Large Crowd, Lauds Army’s Efforts in Defeating Insurgency 
Large crowd who gathered  for the  9th Civil-Military Seminar have  applauded the efforts of the Nigerian Army in defeating Insurgency.
The seminar with the theme:,  “Evolving Role of the Social Media in Support of the Nigerian Army’s Non-kinetic line of Operations” which is taking place at the Royal Birds Hotel, Ijapo Estate Akure is  meant for participants in the South West Geopolitical Zone.
The seminar which is in continuation of 
the Army Headquarters Department of
Civil-Military Affairs engagement with the civil populace, aimed at projecting the NA positively had attracted over 300 participants who hailed the organizer for such roburst engagement.
There were two  presentations made at the event by Dr Yemi Bamgbose, a rtd Perm Sec in Ondo state and Dr Ola David. 
There were also representations from the  NSCDC, Peace Corps , DSS and also students from tertiary institutions within Akure and environs. 
The event was well publicized and attended by participants from Akure and the South West generally while the engagement was rich and robust.
Other participants at the seminar include; the HRDO, a representative from the NACWC as well members of NGOs, CSOs and various student bodies. 
The participants appreciated the NA for this engagement and encouraged it not to relent in its efforts to liberate the country from the  activities of insurgents and other criminal elements despite the comments of skeptics.  
The seminar had in attendance the CCMA,  Maj Gen US Mohammed,  Maj Gen GS Abdullahi from DHQ, Comd 32 Arty Bde Brig Gen ZL  Abubakar and the Dir Psyops, AHQ DCMA Brig Gen EA Aladeniyi. 
Also in attendance is the representative of the Commissioner for Information of Ondo state, Alafe Abbey as well as the Special Adviser to the Governor of Ondo state on new media,  Olabode Richard. 
Journalists from the  conventional media and social media users, practitioners and influencers also showed up to participate in the seminar.
In total, over 300 participants turned up for the event.
