Zulum Meets Buhari, Gives Brief On Borno’s Fight Against Boko Haram Recovery
Borno Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum was at the presidential villa in Abuja on Thursday for one-on-one meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
Information from the governor’s media team, said the meeting focused Borno’s fight against Boko Haram towards peace building, rebuilding, resettlement of displaced persons and economic recovery.
Zulum left Maiduguri on Thursday through a special flight arrangement that falls in line with presidential directives over the Covid-19 lockdown of Abuja in which movements over critical matters are exempted from the restrictions.
During the closed door meeting, Governor
Zulum briefed the president on state of affairs in Borno state.
