Obaseki Picks Nomination Form, Joins PDP Governorship Race

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state has today, Friday June, 2020 formally declared his position.
The Governor who dumped APC following his disqualification by party’s Screening Committee last week made his declaration to contest under
the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during a meeting with the party stakeholders at the party’s secretariat in Benin City, Edo state.
Obaseki has picked his nomination form for Edo 2020 governorship race and he is to contest the PDP Primaries alongside three other aspirants come, the 23rd ofJune 2020.
He was received by the leadership of the party, Edo PDP Chairman, Hon Tony Aziegbemi at the state Secretariat admists top political appointees and the governor’s followers who accompanied him to the venue.
