Newly lnaugurated Executives, FRCN NUJ Chapel Kaduna On Curtesy Visit To NUJ Secretariat

The newly inaugurated Executive members of the Kaduna FRCN, Nigeria Union Of Journalists (NUJ) Chapel yesterday were at the NUJ State Council on a courtesy visit.
Speaking, the newly elected Chairman, Comrade Umar Sarki Pada who led the team said the visit was a way of saying thank you to the council for the role played in ensuring a smooth transition.
The visit was also to seek support of the Council in the task ahead.
“We are here to extend our gratitude for the role played during our election and also to solicit for your support as a Council.”
Comrade Umar Pada promised to work together with his team to ensure a vibrant and successful tenure.
Chairman of the Council, Comrade Adamu Yusuf congratulated the new executives of the chapel for coming on board while urging that they display leadership quality.
They should work conscientiously as that is the gate way to success. Leadership is not an easy task. He added.
“Leadership is a burden and transparency is key to success and to succeed, you will have to carry the people along. If there is anything, consult the secretariat. We know you cannot do everything but try your best. NUJ is ready to assist. the door is always open. He encouraged.
One of the veteran journalist, Alhaji Tajudeen Ajibade spoke on the vibrant role FRCN played in the development of the country particularly in the north in terms of news dissemination and awareness programs.
“For you that are coming behind, there is a lot to be done.” He advised and prayed that they help the profession to grow.
