The Founder/Chief Executive Officer  AMANA Hope And Care Initiative, Hajiya Farida Abubakar while fielding questions from newsmen said the organization is focused on addressing the plights of vulnerable  women.
“Our target right now is on marternal and child health. We are looking at how to encourage women especially those at the grassroot to access antenatal care.
“Research has shown that a lot of women die out of ignorance during pregnancy not because they don’t want to access health care services but because they don’t know how to go about it.
“Also, they don’t know the health facilities that are closer to them. So what the organization is trying to do is to encourage the women  and make them know the danger signs during pregnancy as well as make them understand the need to access antenatal care.
We know that when it is time for one to die,  you cannot  stop it.”

governments in the state.
