Kaduna LG Election: PDP Cries Out, Election Compromised …Says, we are rejecting the results  

The  People’s Democratic Party, PDP has  said it is going to reject the  Local Government election results.

Reason being that the integrity of the process has been compromised.

The Spokesperson of the Party, Abraham Alberah Catoh disclosed this to journalists today during a press conference held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists Secretariat Kaduna.

The Chairperson SIECOM,  Saratu Binta  Dikko-Audu earlier had assured them of a free fair election. He said.

“As it is now, any result announced by the commission is already been predetermined. We are not going to accept these results.”

Speaking, one of the major stakeholders of PDP, Dr. AbdulRahman Usman lamenting over what he described as an unfortunate situation accused SIECOM of collaborating with the All Progressive Congress (APC) to ensure that the party wins.

“There is malfunction of election machines within Zaria Local Government, 28 out of 30 machines not functioning.

The computer has been programmed to favour APC.

The machines have been programmed which puts APC at advantage over other parties. In a situation where such has been done, the integrity of the process have largely been compromised. This is totally unacceptable”  We have other evidences too. He said.

The party however has called on the citizens to remain calm and peaceful as they go about their businesses.
