A 19-year-old secondary school (SS1) student residing in Kubwa, Abuja, has reportedly been stabbed to death by her co-tenant.
The girl identified as Salma Yunusa was said to have been living with Bilikisu, her elder sister, at the time of the incident.
According to Daily Trust, Bilikisu said she and Salma tried to intervene in an argument between Immaculate Chukwudi, the suspect, and another male tenant.
She alleged that Chukwudi had threatened them with a knife and even continued to harass them the following day when she eventually stabbed Salma.
Bilikisu said that the police were informed about the incident and have arrested Chukwudi.
“I saw the pastor parking off his clothes that he washed, even though they were yet to dry and when I tried to find out why, he simply told me that it’s the suspect that demanded it,” she said
