Borno: Transport Unions, Farmers Associations Get a Boost as Gov. Zulum Gives Operational Vehicles

The associations of both Transport Unions and that of farmers have received a boost with Governor Babagana Zulum’s donation of operational vehicles.
The presentation of vehicles were made during the governor’s visit to Baga town.
The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) received the vehicles to facilitate transportation.
The vehicles presented included 7 golf saloon cars and 10 units of tricycles to NURTW, while 3 golf saloon cars and 5 units of tricycles went to RTEAN.
Farmers and fish buyers also received 15 units of vehicles to assist with transporting produce and goods to markets.
Leaders of the benefiting associations expressed gratitude to the governor for his continued support, acknowledging its positive impact on the local economy.
