Kaduna South Reps Member, Hon. Hussaini Abdulkarim Ahmed, Honoured as “Legislator of the Year”*
Hon. Hussaini Abdulkarim Ahmed (Mai Kero), Representative of Kaduna South Federal Constituency and Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Host Communities, has been recognized as “The Legislator of the Year” by Authentic News Daily. This prestigious award acknowledges his effective and quality representation, as well as people-friendly initiatives in Kaduna State.
According to the Managing Editor of Authentic News Daily, Mr. Jacob Dickson Onjewu, Hon. Hussaini Abdulkarim Ahmed was selected for his outstanding contributions, including procuring a high-powered borehole drilling machine to address water scarcity, empowering youth and women, paying tuition fees, and providing overseas scholarships, medical outreach (“A gyara Ido”), micro-business, and agricultural empowerment.
The award was received on behalf of Hon. Hussaini Abdulkarim Ahmed by his Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Sharifudeen Ibrahim Muhammad (Dan Jarida). In his remarks, Sharifudeen Muhammad expressed profound gratitude to the organizers for recognizing the Kaduna South Reps Member’s quality and effective representation.
Hon. Hussaini Abdulkarim Ahmed dedicated the award to his constituents, promising to continue delivering impactful projects in education, healthcare, and empowerment.
Other notable awardees included Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State, and former Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai (rtd), Senator Lawal Adamu Usman (Mr LA) representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District and Rev. Father Joseph Hayat.
