LIVE: Israeli forces kill 32 people in ‘heavy waves’ of attacks on Gaza

Palestinians in distress after Israeli attack in Khan Younis

Israeli forces continue bombarding Gaza, killing at least 32 Palestinians since dawn, including 11 people who burned to death in Khan Younis.

Al Jazeera’s team on the ground has reported “a truly extraordinary” increase in the “huge and heavy waves” of Israeli attacks across the enclave.

United States forces keep up attacks on Yemen, after the Houthis claim more raids on Israel as well as US aircraft carriers in the Red Sea.

At least 51,266 Palestinians have been confirmed killed and 116,991 wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza since it began 18 months ago.

The Gaza Government Media Office updated its death toll to more than 61,700, saying thousands of people missing under the rubble are presumed dead. At least 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led October 7, 2023 attacks, and more than 200 were taken captive
