NASFAT Kaduna Forms New Group

The National Executive Council of Nastrul Lahil-L-Fatih Society NASFAT Worldwide has approved the take off of a new group in Kaduna.
This was disclosed by the Zonal Chairman, NASFAT, Alhaji Saheed Popoola during the stakeholders meeting held at NASFAT conference hall Kaduna.
In his opening remark, the Vice Chairman NASFAT Kaduna Branch, Alhaji AbdulAkeem Adeniji said the stakeholders meeting was meant to from time to time take stock of the society’s activities with a view to assessing recorded achievements and chart a way forward.
He charged the Excos to be committed to the course with which NASFAT is formed.
The meeting took cognisance of grey areas as a measure to finding solutions for the betterment of the society.
NASFAT Zonal Chairman, Alhaji  Saheed Popoola Gambari while giving a brief on the takeoff of the new group said the opening of the group is necessitated by the increase of members.
Having another congregational area within Kaduna metropolis will not only help in discongesting the population in NASFAT village but also ease the transportation problem of members who come from far to attend asalat.
The commencement of the new group on Sunday, 20th of March, 2022 at Muri road will take care of those living within the vicinity and its environ. This year’s Ramadan lecture is taking place  same date.   He announced.
Speaking, Engr. Muhyideen Alimi Yusuf, a two term NASFAT Kaduna Chairman, now National Executive Council Member said there is need to sustain the members and sustaining members means good leadership.
In his presentation on membership drive, he pin pointed some key areas of concern.
The need to take control of both external and internal crisis he sees as very key because wherever there is a gathering of more than one or two, such situations become unavoidable.
All hands therefore he charged must be on deck which means everyone’s responsibilities need to be taken with all honesty and seriousness.
However, Engr. Yusuf admitted that there are some situations that cannot be controlled due to the social economic situation of the country and the emerging global challenges but as executives a lot of sacrifices will be needed to meet up these challenges.
Taking a critical look at the score card which was described as commendable, more is expected in the areas of members education and Dawa’h programme.
Contributing on way forward, the Chairman of Offa Descendant Union Kaduna,
Alhaji Muftahu Adeyemo and Alhaji Bashir Dumoye both stressed on the need to address the issue of brotherhood as a way of strengthening the society.
Also contributing, immediate Zonal Vice Chairman, Alhaji Adekunle Adesanya charged members to try as much as possible to update themselves with  happenings as well as take advantage of the available social media handles to positively advance themselves.
The Women Affairs Secretary Hajiya Kudirat Akande also pledged commitments on the part of the women to help move the society forward.
Contributing, NASFAT Zonal immediate Past Education Secretary/ Zonal Publicity Relation Officer, Alhaji Abdulwaheed Amusa gave an update on NASFAT’S visitation to Queen Amina Secondary School.
The awareness programme embarked upon to educate the students on the dangers of drugs he said was a success.
The resource person Dr. Zainab Suleiman after her lecture had an interactive session with the students. The participatory session he said brought to light germane issues of concern.
Alhaji Amusa also spoke on the undertaken made by NASFAT Kaduna to resuscitate the school’s lslamiyya as well as pay instructors which was reached when it held its 2021 Northern Dawah programme at the school in December.
The lslamiyya he informed is on – going and students happy about it.
Some copies of Quran were donated by the society and copies of lslamic books by the Missionary Board. Cash was also presented to the Patron, MSS, Queen Amina school, Alhaji Rabiu Adamu Ladan who  represented the principal of the school Hajiya Rakiya Isiaka to keep the lslamiyya class running. He said.
Not only that, NASFAT Zonal Missionary/ Chief Imam Kaduna Branch, Imam Marooph Muh’d Raji volunteered to from time to time lead the students for Jummat prayers which they said they were in dare need of.
This he said brought an emotional outburst from both the Head of the School’s Muslim Students Society, MSS Alhaji Rabiu Adamu and students who could not hide their joy.
As a contribution, one of the Missionary board’s member, Assistant Missionary, Austaz Mustapha Abdulkareem has during the stakeholders meeting also  volunteered to key into Queen Amina Islamiyyya’s time table for free.
It will be recalled that NASFAT Kaduna had through the leadership of Engr. Muhyideen Alimi Yusuf during the Northern Dawah Conference held in December, 2021 revived the school bore hole for use.
NASFAT is an Islamic organization formed with the Mission Statement of developing an enlightened Muslim society, nurtured by a true understanding of the religion Islam for the spiritual upliftment and welfare of mankind and with a Vision Statement of being a pace setting Islamic organization with widespread acceptance within and outside Nigeria.
