2023 Presidential Bid: I Will Take Nigeria From Consumption To Production Level – Peter Obi

One of PDP’s presidential aspirants former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi has promised to take Nigeria to a higher level.

According to him, he will make Nigeria a producing nation rather than  of a consuming status that it is today.

He made this promise at the PDP Secretariat Kaduna on Monday when he came with his entourage to officially declare his intention to run for the race.

“Over the years, Nigeria has been badly managed. We have all it takes to be a great nation. He stated.

My people what l want to do is to take Nigeria from consumption to production.

If you want to fight security, is to fight natural security. How? By pulling one out of poverty.

“Nigeria did not invest in the future of his children. That is where we are today.

If Nigeria is a producing country, we will not be where we are today.

Still lamenting over the present state of affairs, he said.

“No place you go in Nigeria now, it is bad news. What people ask is, how did we get here? What did we do wrong?

We are consuming our future. That is why we borrow money and keep servicing debts.

He said no more resources to share again because all Nigeria is good at doing is sharing. Whatever we are sharing is finished.

It is time to wake up and do the needful.

“I am begging you. Help to build a better nation.

My dear people, your country has collapsed. You can stop the collapse.”

He gave example of Kaduna state that he used to know as being peaceful. Where many dreamt of coming because of its serene nature but now turned to something else. Bedeviled with security problems.

Kaduna state has so many untapped resources that can bounce it back economically . He noted.

Stressing further more on his capability and what he has in stock for a better nation,  he said.

“What l will do is invest in the youth.

l want to empower them. We have talented youth, talented hard working youth. All we need to do is support them and not to turn them into beggars. He is ready to put his business acumen to test. He said.

While recognizing the fact that people could be bought over during this political  dispensation, he urged individuals to be cautious in whatever action they take. Not to take that which could be detrimental to the growth of the society.

“If people give you money, take it but if you want to vote, pick the right choice.

Check the background of all of us contesting. Peter Obi is the one that can deliver. He sounded

Hyat lamenting the state of education in northern Nigeria said no society can survive without education. Youth without education is a liability to the society.

I  pray that God will be with you to get us out of the problems we find ourselves. He added.
