Breaking News: Sanwo-Olu re-elected Governor of Lagos state

Governor Sanwo -Olu has been re-elected Governor of Lagos state.

He scored 762,134 votes to defeat his closest rival Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour

of Labour party who scored 312, 329 votes.

The PDP candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran,

scored 62,449 votes.

In his acceptance speech, he thanked all the good people of Lagos for their support while promising to continue with the good work of the party.

He also promised to run free, fair and just government by carrying everyone along irrespective of the party they have voted for.

“President Buhari, you have been fair you have been just.

Mr. President elect, thank you and wish you well in your new assignment.

Governor Sanwo – Olu has extended his hands of friendship to all his fellow contestants saying, together they will make Lagos great.
