Kaduna: Hon.Isa Ashiru Kudan Wins PDP Governorship Primaries

Finally, as expectedly predicted by some political pundits, the game has gone in favour of Hon. Isa Mohammed Ashiru Kudan. (Sarkin Bai Zazzau).

Hon Isa Ashiru is not new in the game of politics.

He served in Kaduna State House of Assembly for two terms.

In 2007-2011 he was elected member representing Makarfi/Kudan federal constituency under PDP.

In 2011- 2015 he was reelected for second term.

Hon. Ashiru contested against Governor Nasir El-Rufai on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015 and lost at the primaries before returning to the PDP prior to the 2019 general elections.

He was governorship candidate in 2019 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

According to him he won the 2019 Guber race but was rigged out.

Since then he had kept his dream to serve his people burning.

Though lost the governorship election in 2019, he had promised not to leave anything to chance come 2023 elections but will follow due process to succeed.

He had  in one of his interviews said, “I intend to pursue my dream until success is achieved.”

The result of the just concluded 2023 governorship primaries below some political observers say matches his words.

Hon Isa Mohammed Ashiru Kudan won with 414 votes
