There are insinuations that the former governor of Katsina State, Barr Ibrahim Shehu Shema may decamp to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Recall that recently one of his political foes Dr Mustapha Inuwa has decamped to PDP in annoyance over his inability to win the governorship primary election of APC.

There were speculations that Barr Shema vehemently opposed the reception of Dr Mustapha Inuwa but a faction of the PDP, which is pro Gov Wike insisted that Dr Mustapha Inuwa would add value towards the, 2023 general elections in the state.
