APC Will Take All The Seats Come 2023 Elections –  Monrovia

A member of the House of Representatives, Kaduna South federal constituency, Hon. Mukhtar Ahmed Monrovia has said the ruling party, the All Progressive Congress APC will take all the seats come 2023 general elections.

He stated this during the Political manifesto night organized for Gubernatorial, Senatorial, House of Representative and House of Assembly candidates of the all political parties held in Kaduna.

The event which was  organized by Gbagyi Development Union (GDU) was meant to give the candidates the opportunity to interact with the electorates as they unveil activities they have in stock for them.

In a brief interview with Newsreservoir shortly after the event, he said.

“We have given them our legislative agenda, a copy so that they will look at it to see our programmes for the next four years if we get elected again. And at the same time we came with copies of our score cards to show them the three and half years of what we have done.”

The document distributed the lawmaker explained captures projects they have done for the communities over the three and half years of their stewardship.

“In the document are lots of projects

we have done for the communities and also the display of a lot of inclusiveness because even areas they did not vote for us, we brought projects because when you are getting to that office, everybody is your own. You don’t need to discriminate. So, the Gbagi nation is part of us and we have honoured their invitation, and l will continue to follow up with them so that they can give us enough votes to take us back into the house of representatives.

Some of these projects include the construction of bore holes in communities, repairs/fencing of transformers, construction of classrooms, rehabilitation/ fencing of  schools, constructions and upgrade of primary health care centers, donation of  hospital equipment as well as settlement of medical bills of many.

A man of the people, he is.

As to whether there is anything he intends to do differently if he eventually gets elected, he has this to say.

“We are not going to change the tactics because the same issues are still with us. The issues of education, health empowerment for youth and women and ofcourse skill acquisition for our teaming youth. These are the areas we have concentrated in the last three and half years and we will do the same thing.

“Our legislation has also shown that we have two bills that are talking about reviving the textile industry in Kaduna south federal constituency. We have another one talking about infrastructure, because If you have good  infrastructure, it brings investment. People come to invest. These are the things we will continue to pursue. Maybe the only thing that we will do a little  different, we will add more emphasis on women and youth development and empowerment.

In response to how APC will fair in the forthcoming elections, Hon Muktar said. “By the special grace of God, it is going to happen. APC will take all the seats by the grace of God.” He said
