NASFAT Calls For Peace, Urges Politicians To Eschew Politics of Calumny

Nastrul Lahil -L Fatih Society NASFAT has called on Nigerians to live in peace with one another for the nation to achieve greatness.
It also stressed on the need for politicians to engage in issue based campaign in order to ensure violence free elections come 2023 polls.
This call was made during special prayers organized by NASFAT Doka Group Kaduna.
Aside praying for peace and tranquility to reign In the nation, the group also offered special prayers for the repose of the souls of all departed ones.

“At the end of every year, we always organize special prayers for ourselves the entire Muslim ummah, every Nigerian for Allah to be our guide to witness the coming year. We also pray for the deceased for Allah to forgive their sins as well as pray for peace to reign In the nation.
Speaking on the forthcoming election, Adepoju urged the electorate to be cautious of candidates they vote for.
“My advise to the electorates is for them to be very careful and watch those they are going to vote for. It is not those they want but they should pray very well to Almighty Allah to give us leaders that will work for us. Those that will like us. Those that will love us. Those that have the fear of God in their hearts. These are the ones we want the electorates to vote for. They should keep issue of money and sentiments aside. They should look for the best leaders to vote for. The youth should be very careful because they are the leaders of tomorrow. They should elect leaders that will assist them to grow.
The Guest Lecturer, Imam Marooph Muh’d Raji, Chief Imam NASFAT/ Zonal Missionary NASFAT Kaduna state, speaking on the virtues of life said there are three things in life one is not sure of and these three things must be driven by action for it to be actualized.
He called on individuals to rise up to their responsibilities and pursuits in life in order to achieve the desired greatness.
“Amongst the three things is ‘dream’. Sometimes one finds himself/herself dreaming big. Of course nothing is wrong with one dreaming big. The fact is, it is not just enough for one to dream big without an action, a push for such dream to be actualized because nothing comes easy.
” If you dream to be great, and you’re not working towards that, you will not achieve that greatness.”
The second one is success. Without an action, one will not attain success.
The third one is goodies. With success comes goodies. This also must be pushed by an action otherwise, it could go in vain.
It is therefore pertinent that we strive hard to get what we want in life because there is no short- cut to success. He urged individuals to be very prayerful. Being constant and persevering in seeking Allah’s guidance in whatever actions taken.
Imam Marooph also stressed on some qualities that could lead one to greatness.
One being constant in good deeds and display of sincerity in whatever one does are basic needs to greatness. He stated.
With regards to the 2023 election, he urged politicians not to engage in politics of bitterness. Campaign should be issue based for peace to reign.
“Hate speeches, they need to do away with it. Their campaign should be issue based. Tell the people what you will do when you get there. They need to be peaceful in whatever they want to do. That is what will make the election to be free, and fair for us.
He called on the Muslim faithfuls and every Nigerian to get their PVCs, saying, report has shown that many Nigerians are yet to collect their PVCs.
While charging everyone to be peaceful in order to ensure free, and fair election, he encouraged everyone to come out to vote for candidate of their choice so as to move the country forward.
The Lead Missionary NASFAT Doka Group Kaduna, Ustazh Uthman Kabir explaining the importance of praying for the deceased said praying for them will attract forgiveness from Allah. He urged all those that have lost their loved ones to cultivate the habit of praying for them in order that Allah continues to shower His forgiveness upon them.
“By praying for them, Allah will shower His blessings upon them. That is why the prophet SAW said, if the life is being terminated, there are three things that will be of benefit to the deceased.
First is, prayer offered by the children. That reward will be for the deceased in the grave. Secondly, the knowledge people acquire through him will be beneficial to the person because the moment people use that knowledge, the reward will be with him/her. The third one is Sadaqatul jariya. That is giving out alms (charity) on their behalf. It could be maybe while alive such person left charitable thing behind. Maybe he/she dug bore hole, or any charitable thing. The moment people are benefiting from it, the reward goes to him/her.
“You can see that offering of prayers for our deceased ones is very important.
I am advising the children of the deceased to always pray for their parents. This has to be continuous. Infact if you want to be reckoned as good children, let it be that you always include them in the five daily prayers. According to him nothing is worth given to them if not prayers.
Adding her voice, Women Affairs Coordinator, NASFAT Doka Group Kaduna, Hajiya Bashirat Seidu said women have big role to play in ensuring good governance. She called on women to come out emmas to vote the right leaders.
“We encourage all the women to participate in the forth-coming election because it is our rights to participate. If you don’t participate, whatever happens, you’re the course but by participating, you have satisfied your conscience. May Allah choose the best for us.”
She encouraged parents to ensure that all children that are18 and above come out to exercise their franchise.
“They should vote in peace not with violence. We don’t want them to fight. They should not engage in vote buying. They should vote their conscience whoever is good and God chosen Insha Allah. That is our prayer.”

who was there to partake in the prayer session expressed happiness for being part of the prayers. Prayer she said is very important for the sustenance of one’s life. She commended NASFAT Doka Group for such initiative.
