FCT Police Vows to Bring to Book Killers of Hammed

The Police Public Relations Officer, FCT Command, DSP Josephine Adeh, said the command is on track to trace and bring to book the perpetrators involved in the killing of Usman Hammed around Laris Estate in Idu/Karmo area on Sunday while on morning exercise.
According to the FCT PPRO, “the Command is aware of the case of one Usman Hammed who was reported to have left home around 7:00hrs on 25/12/2022 and never returned.
“He was later discovered around 14:00hrs by a search party organized by the Karmo Divisional Police Headquarters upon the receipt of the information, with visible bodily injuries. He was confirmed dead by experts on the crime scene investigation Team who were present to remove the corps and take necessary preliminary investigation actions.
“The FCT Commissioner of Police CP Sadiq Idris Abubakar PhD, Mni, has directed the Division of jurisdiction and all other Investigative and intelligence assets of the Command to exert their full weight on the case to unravel the circumstances surrounding his death and bring perpetrators to book.
