2023 Election: Vote With the Fear of Allah – FOMWAN Charges Muslim Women

The Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN) Kaduna state chapter has restated needs for Muslim Women to come out and exercise their franchise in the 2023 elections commencing on Saturday.

Not only that, they should vote with the fear of All Mighty Allah.

The Amira, FOMWAN Kaduna State’s Chapter, Pharm. Aisha Isiyaku Tukur

made this charge in a statement signed and made available to newsmen.

The association while warning against any act that would jeopardize the free and fair processes during and after the election refers to verse… : “invoke your Lord with humility and in secret. He likes not the aggressors. And do not do mischief on the earth after it has been set in order, and invoke Him with fear and hope. Surely, Allah’s mercy is (ever) near to the good-doers.” Chapter 7 Verses:55-56 .
FOMWAN which is Founded in 1985 is a faith-based, non-profit, non- partisan organization and an umbrella of Muslim women’s associations in Nigeria. The organization works on sensitization on  elections, Education, Health, and Humanitarian services.
