Kaduna: Uba Sani’s Administration Committed to welfare of journalists – NUJ

The Nigeria Union of journalists Kaduna, NUJ has applauded the governor of Kaduna state, Uba Sani for his gesture as he donates cow to the council for Salah celebration.

The Chairman of the council, Hajiya Asma’u Yawo Halilu while receiving the cow on behalf of the members had described the gesture as a demonstration of the governor’s commitment to the welfare of journalists in the state.

She assured the governor of council’s support in ensuring adequate coverage of government activities in a bid to delivering on his campaign promises.

While appreciating the show of love which she said will help in strengthening the working relationship between the council and the Uba Sani led administration, She said.

“This is a departure from the recent past and it will not be taken for granted by the union and her members.”

Responding, the CPS who was represented at the presentation by the Director, Information Public Affairs Office, Mrs. Nabilah Hassan, explained that the administration is committed to strengthening partnership with journalists in the state for better dissemination of its activities to the generality of the people.
