The Peoples Democratic Presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar says, he will stop his fight against President Bola Tinubu of the All progressive party only when the supreme Court rules against him.
He made this revelation on Thursday at a press conference in Abuja.
It is no longer news that Atiku had challenged the victory of Bola Tinubu and tried all possible ways to nail him on the count of an allegedly forged certificate.
The allegation of forgery which was struck out by the presidential election court however is being pursued at the US court, which eventually ordered release of official documents Atiku is seeking to include in his appeal at the Supreme Court.
According to him, there were discrepancies in the certificate Tinubu submitted to the INEC which should have rendered him ineligible to contest the election.
He had already filed his appeal against him at the Supreme Court and that, “It is only when the court rules that he is right that I will drop this fight”.
That is to say that the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar who came second in the 2023 presidential election will continue to fight his battle not until the Supreme Court pronounces otherwise because, “there is no court higher than the supreme court.” He said.
