Education: Governor Radda receives commendation, recruits over 7,000 teachers

The Governor of Katsina state,  has been commended for boosting education in the state.
The recruitment of over 7,000 thousand teachers has been applauded as that will go a long way in addressing the shortage of teachers in the state. Thus, repositioning the  educational system.

Chairman, Malumfashi Local Government Council, Alhaji Maharazu Adamu Dayi made this commendation during the formal issuance of appointment letters to the newly recruited teachers in Malumfashi zone.

Kunnengari reports that, Alhaji Maharazu Adamu Dayi said “the recruitment of  over 7,000 teachers would address the shortage of teachers in the state.”

Earlier, the Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board, Alhaji Kabir Magaji, who was represented by the Director Social Mobilisation of the Board, Alhaji Garba Addau revealed that the present administration would not relent in its efforts in ensuring close monitoring of the teachers while discharging their work.

He added that the  newly recruited teachers were lucky to have been engaged for 5 day capacity building training before their reporting to their places of assignment.

In his address of welcome, the Education Secretary of Malumfashi Local Government Education Authority, Alh Musa Ibrahim called on the teachers to reciprocate the gesture by cooperating and discharging their duties very diligently assuring them that after their training the Local Government Education Authority would post them in their area of locations and in the best interest of the LGEA and the teachers.
