International Youth Day: NASFAT President commemorates energetic spirit of Young NASFAT

The President Nastrul -L-Fatih Society NASFAT, worldwide, Alhaji Ayodeji Abdulwahid Abdulrauf has commended the energetic spirit of young NASFAT in the dispensation of their affairs and contributing towards nation building.

This commendation was given while marking this year’s international youth day.

Alhaji Abdulrauf who together with NASFAT stakeholders celebrated the potential and power of young NASFAT and other youth across the globe described the youth as not only the backbone of the nation but the future of tomorrow.

The youth can bring social reform and improvement in the society. No nation can make do without its youth. He said.

“Today, on International Youth Day, NASFAT Stakeholders celebrate the potential and power of young NASFAT and other youth across the globe to shape the future of our increasingly interconnected world. With over half of the global population under the age of 30, young generations will find the solutions to some of our toughest global challenges.

The president speaking on NASFAT’S commitments to the overall well-being of its youth and some of the areas of interventions, he said.

“NASFAT is committed to providing opportunity for young people to ensure they are not only the leaders of tomorrow but also change agents today as in our policy thrust focus LEAD. ( Leadership,  Empowerment,  Agent of change & Dawah ) Whether it is ensuring boys and girls have equal access to education, building skills to strengthen youth leadership in civil society, business and academia, or providing a young entrepreneur with the capital and network to grow a start-up, we are investing in the potential of the next generation.

Academy an agency of NASFAT,  “Fountain University Osogbo” ( Higher Institution of learning owned by NASFAT) where  leaders of today and tomorrow have the best morals, religion and academic nurturing to be ready for world challenges.

“Nearly half a million of NASFAT young people are working together to learn from one another and effect change in their communities. He added.

Acknowledging the contributions of the youth.

“NASFAT Youth are often the voices at the forefront of advocating for societies to advance and improve mirroring SDG agenda, whether on issues of human rights, technology, climate change, or healthcare.
“From the social impacts of NASFAT youth across locations, Recent  Environmental Protections Advocacy in Benin,Edo State, Young NASFAT Radio for public enlightenment and advocacy , NASFAT UK & Ireland Youth Visit to Prisons for hospitality supports and Forest Camping , Climate Change  advocacy and Enlightenment on Islamophobia syndrome, fighting for disability rights, to the human rights advocate in  Nigeria.
“The NASFAT Youth has a world of endless possibility and is not waiting to take action to do what is right.” He stated.

Alhaji Abdulrauf charged the youth to remain focused and dedicated in their pursuit to enhancing developmental change in the organization and the nation at large.
