Scholarship: KTSG sends 68 students to China to study AI, Bio-economy

Katsina state government has expressed it determination to empower the teeming youth with education and technology.

Governor Dikko Radda made this declaration at a ceremony on Tuesday, September 10, which was held for the 68 indigene sent to China to study Artificial Intelligence and Biotechnology.

He explained that for students who read Artificial Intelligence on graduation would help the state in human empowerment and I C T.

He said students who studied Bio- Technology on graduation would help the state to transform agricultural sector, special green plant technology and environmental conservation among others.

He called on beneficiaries to be academically sound and be good ambassadors of the state and country at large, stressing that they should also be of good morals.

The students were given a complete scholarship package which comprised passport , visa processing fee, traveling expenses, books expenses and accommodation as parents are not expected to pay any amount of money

One of the beneficiaries of the scholarship, Armayu Nuhu from Fantua Local Government who spoke on behalf of other beneficiaries expressed gratitude to God (Allah) and thanked Katsina Sate Government for the gesture.
