NASFAT President Congratulates Prof. Nazmat Surajudeen-Bakinde on Appointment as Vice-Chancellor of USET, Gambia

In the spirit of gratitude and praise to Allah, the President of Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), Alhaji AbdulWahid Ayodeji AbdulRauf, joyfully congratulates Prof. Nazmat Surajudeen-Bakinde on her historic appointment as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Applied Science, Engineering, and Technology (USET), Gambia.

In a statement dated September 23, 2024, issued by the National Public Relations Secretary, Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society, Alhaji Shamsideen Owolabi Oseni,

“Prof. Surajudeen-Bakinde, a dedicated member of NASFAT’s National Women Committee and Tanke Branch Women Council, has been an inspiring academic and a symbol of excellence. Her appointment as Vice-Chancellor makes her one of three members from NASFAT Tanke Branch who have risen to this prestigious position—joining two other Vice-Chancellors, one male and two females, from Fountain University Osogbo and Al-Hikmah University.

 

In his message, Alhaji AbdulRauf said, “Alhamdulillah! This achievement is a testament to Allah’s grace and your unwavering commitment to knowledge and service. We are deeply proud of you and will continuously pray for your successful tenure.”

Prof. Surajudeen-Bakinde expressed her joy and humility, thanking Allah for the honor and requesting prayers from NASFAT members for guidance and wisdom in this new role. Her accomplishment is a proud moment for the entire NASFAT family.
