The Ministry of Human Services and Social Development, yesterday, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), successfully hosted an event as part of celebrating 16days of activism.
Speaking at the event, the Hon Commissioner, Ministry of Human services and Social Development hajiya Rabi Salisu expressed happiness and commitments towards actualizing the dream.
“Today, we continued our journey as part of the 16 Days of Activism Celebration 2024.
“Together, we united to end violence against women and girls.
Our theme, “The Role of Law Enforcement in Mitigating Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Marginalized Communities Especially High Incident Areas,” highlighted the crucial role law enforcement plays in protecting vulnerable populations.
