NASFAT Kaduna Zone: Over Eighty Members, Non-members Benefit From Da’wah Training

Kaduna Zone in line with the society’s vision and mission statement in the promotion and understanding of the religion lslam has again organized its annual da’wah training programme.

The train – the – trainer yearly programme with the theme, “Understanding Your Deen” has attracted members across the zone including outsiders.

In his welcome address, NASFAT President Worldwide Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWaheed Abdulrauf speaking through the National Project Secretary NASFAT worldwide, Engr. Muhyideen Alimi Yusuf commended the zone for its efforts in sustaining the programme while charging participants to take the training seriously in order that they can enrich their knowledge concerning their deen.
Over 70 members and non members have been trained in the just concluded dawah training programme.

Speaking, Women Coordinator, National Dawah, hajia Sadia Onike in her speech explained the need to understand ones deen as that will help in clearing some of the conceptions.

There are some misconceptions concerning the religion lslam.  The training will not only help in seeing the beauty of the religion but also help to strengthen and promote peaceful co-existence. She stressed.

Hajia Onike spoke on the difference between being a Muslim by chance and that of by choice.

Attending the dawah training programme exposes one to knowing more about the religion lslam, it will go a long way in making one to take informed decisions and becoming Muslim by choice. She stated.

“We are Muslim by chance because we were born by our parents into the religion by chance. Knowledge is important to advance so that we can be Muslim by choice.”

She urged the new participants to take interest in knowing more about their deen.

NASFAT she said already has 50 facilitators which lnsha Allah will continue to grow.

“This program has come a long way. We give Allah the glory.

“This course is for Allah. Each zone henceforth will be sending their dawah coordinators. The Zonal coordinators must be active members.”

She informed that 7 zones already have picked their dates for 2025 programme and encouraged others to follow suit.

She thanked Kaduna Zone for their efforts as she pointed out areas of improvement against oncoming programme.

New participants were tested in order to find out their level of understanding of their deen with a view to enhancing their knowledge.

First National Affairs Women Affairs Secretary, Hajia Fausat Oladoja took charge of the exercise. A thrilling and educative session it was.

Assessing their performances, Oladoja urged them to put in their best in order that they can reap the benes

The Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Saheed Popoola Gambari thanked Allah for making the programme a success.
He appreciated everybody’s commitments right from the national level. The president, the national project secretary, facilitators, executives and all that contributed in making the programme a success.

 

He thanked the former Zonal Secretary Alhaji Muideen Ahmed who had been of great assistance in the area of venue and accommodation.

Alhaji Gambari promised to ensure that the zone takes cognizance of those areas needed to  improve upon in the next coming training.

Zonal Missioner, NASFAT Kaduna/ Chairman Dawah Kaduna Zone, Imam Ma’rooph Muh’d Raji in a vote of thanks appreciated everyone’s commitment and support in making the program feasible.
Engr. Muhyideen Alimi Yusuf had been a source of encouragement, he said.
According to him, Kaduna Zone has successfully hosted the programme for three years. He prayed for all that supported the programme while charging his dawah committee members to continue to sustain the spirit of commitments in the discharge of their duties.

In her own message, the Zonal Women Affairs Secretary Hajia Muibat Lawal appreciated everyone as she pledged for their continuous support in order to move the society forward. She tasked the women not to relent in their efforts in contributing to the growth of Islam.

NASFAT Doka Branch Chairman, Hon. Musbau Adepoju on behalf of all the branch chairmen thanked the dawah committee for a job well done. He pledged their continuous support in making the programme worthwhile.

The 3day training meant to equip participants with knowledge about their deen came to a close with the presentation of a token to those who proved themselves.

National Head of Dawah, Imam Salman Shafii Akalanbi emerged the overall best in all the classes.
