Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT),
a pace setting global Islamic society, has
hosted an exceptional business breakfast event at four points by Sheraton, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event featured renowned experts who shared insights on ethical financing and resilient business strategies amidst economic reforms.
Dr. Muda Yusuf, the keynote speaker, projected a positive economic outlook for Nigeria, emphasizing key interventions such as the operationalization of the Dangote Refinery and the rehabilitation of Port Harcourt and Warri Refineries.
Yusuf highlighted the importance of sustaining fiscal policies to ensure long-term growth, stressing the need for government accountability and strategic borrowings to stabilize the economy.
The panel session, moderated by Hajia Aminat Adams, focused on “Faith, Finance, and the Future: Building Resilient Businesses in a Globalised Economy.”
Panelists including Mr. Tella Fatai, Mr. Sulaimon Balogun, and Dr. Yusuf underscored the potential of Islamic banking in addressing economic challenges. They called for synergy among religious organisations to unlock funding opportunities and drive ethical financial solutions.
In a statement issued by the National Public Relation Secretary Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society, Alhaji Shamsideen Owolabi Oseni, the society also inaugurated its Leadership and Mentoring Initiative, comprising members across zones of NASFAT globally.
The initiative aims to mentor young Muslims on personal integrity, career counseling, and morality. This aligns with NASFAT’s commitment to empowering women and youths through education and economic interventions.
