Governor Uba Sani appoints Ahmed Maiyaki new Commissioner of Information

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna state has appointed the Managing Director, Kaduna State Media Corporation, (KSMC) Alhaji Ahmed Maiyaki,  as the new Commissioner of Information.

This came after the Governor relieved Professor Muhammad Sani Bello of his position as Commissioner of Information and a member of the State Executive Council.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary, Malam Ibraheem Musa  Tuesday July 29, 2025.

According to the statement, the governor has relieved Professor Muhammad Sani Bello of his position as Commissioner of Information and a member of the State Executive Council.

The statement while appreciating the contributions of Professor Muhammad Sani Bello had wished him success in his new endeavour.

Professor Sani Bello was the pioneer Commissioner of Education in the Governor Uba Sani Administration before becoming  Commissioner of Information.
