Kaduna ADC Joins El-Rufai in Grief Over Mother’s Passing

The Kaduna State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has extended its heartfelt condolences to former Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, following the passing of his mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai.

In a statement issued on Friday in Kaduna through the office of the party’s Publicity Secretary, Hon. Alex Tagwai, the party expressed profound sorrow over the loss, describing the late matriarch as an exemplary mother whose values and guidance shaped her children into individuals contributing meaningfully to national development.

Elder Patrick D. Ambut, on behalf of the party, conveyed sympathies to Mallam El-Rufai, his siblings, and the entire family, noting that her death is not only a personal loss to the family but also to admirers of the former governor’s vision and commitment to nation-building.

The statement emphasized that the late Hajiya Umma El-Rufai’s legacy lives on through the impactful lives of her children, adding that her nurturing spirit fostered strength, character, and leadership qualities worthy of emulation.

The party further assured the bereaved family of its solidarity during this difficult time, offering prayers for strength and comfort. It also prayed for Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and

grant her eternal rest in Aljannah.
