Ganduje made some specific demands of prudent management of resources, particularly those ministries that receive interventions from the World Bank and other development partners, to always  make sure that they work hand in hand with their public servants for enhanced transparency and accountability.
“Ministries like that of Agriculture, Health, Budget and Education among others. You must make sure that you work closely with the Permanent Secretaries, Directors and other staff, so that you get the best result out of the work,” Ganduje cautioned.
Always have it at the back of your mind that, the central focus of this administration is human development.
“And to avoid our population to be a liability, we must work hard in the area of education so that we can get a population that is an asset,” he stated.
Be up and doing for the development of the state and the nation in general, stressing, “I want you to be focused and remained so, so that you too, will contribute your quota to the socio-economic development of the state.
“You are true representatives of the State Executive Council, therefore you must behave as members of the State Executive Council.
As you are aware that we have a very strong anti-graft institution, the State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, with an honest and strong leadership,” he said.
After looking at the budget document this night, we will write to the State House of Assembly tomorrow Wednesday notifying them about  our intention to present the 2020 budget  to the House. After which, we shall, myself and all of you, go to the Assembly on Thursday and present the budget,” he disclosed.
Congratulating them for the new appointments, he directed.
“You must make sure that you manage your ministries in a civilised way. You are required to make sure that our budget is implemented to the latter. Depending on the resources on ground. You must make sure also that you relate well with the members of the public.”
